子曰，为命，裨谌草创之，世叔讨论之，行人子羽修饰之，东里子产润色之。
白话导读
孔子说：郑国制定外交辞令，先由裨谌起草，再由世叔审议提意见，然后由外交官子羽加以修改，最后由子产润色定稿。

The Master said, "In preparing the governmental notifications, P'i Shan first made the rough draught; Shi-shu examined and discussed its contents; Tsze-yu, the manager of Foreign intercourse, then polished the style; and, finally, Tsze-ch'an of Tung-li gave it the proper elegance and finish."
